The UK Tomato Working Party visited R&L Holt on 10th November 2015.
Following the in-depth morning meeting and data discussion, the group members were able to see the over wintering crops growing under the hybrid lighting system at Sandylands Nurseries.
The combination of overhead high pressure sodium lights and two lines of LED interlights were producing a very controlled crop in nutrient film technique.
In addition, we were able to see the last two trusses of tomatoes in production at Springhill Nureries.
